Howard & Lee Brassfield

Growing Since 1945

This property was homesteaded in 1887 by the Farmer Family, operating as a dairy and they farmed mink as well.  Sandras Great Grandparents purchased the farm in 1945 to continue dairying and in 1965 her grandparents, Howard and Lee Brassfield purchased the farm.  They ran the dairy until the early 90's, when they decided to retire from milking cows by planting over 2000 varieties of daffodils in the pastures.  They put up an honor system farm stand selling cut flowers in the spring, vegetables in the summer, and daffodil bulbs in the fall. They loved these daffodils and I know they would be so happy to be sharing them with you all!
